Vacuum Wurm Hides

After a recent patch, it seems that these as well as vacuum wurm eyes are dropping off of the triggered Xakra ... spawns in the Grey. Has anyone else seen these or know if they might be associated with a new recipe?

I don't know about the eyes, but the hides already existed (I can't really say, personally, if they dropped in that same place before) and have no known use.

I've had hides off the triggered wurms before the patch. Never did find a use for them except selling.
