Obsidianwood Sap, moved / nerfed?

Hi all, used the search option, but couldn't find any handy information about it, so just asking in a new thread, don't be mad at me.

Killed about 40 Obsidian Tree Spiders near PoFire zone-in, no saps. Did they change the droprate? And does anybody know if the Obsidian Lavaspiders that are further in the zone drop any Saps?

The only thing that is keeping me from making the Aid Grimel quest are 3 saps, so please help me out.

A wizard in my guild has been killing spiders for saps on a very regular basis. As recently as last weekend he's seen saps drop off the ones near the zone, and I also got a sap this weekend off a zone spider. The drop rate is just very low. The wizard quads for ten hours or more to come up with the three saps needed for an attempt, to give you an idea of drop rate.

Any idea if the Giant / Spiderling version drop saps too?

The only ones that I am not sure drop sap are the green con ones, and those might as well, the drop rate is so low its very possible I just have not seen it.

ive never seen any items from the green cons ..

ya saps are just hella rare, took me 2 weeks of soloing to fine 6 of them =(
