          Wow congrats Chenier!

I remember a long long time ago meeting you at the cultural forge in Kelethin. I was kicking through imbued wood elf reinforced bracers then LoL. I'm so happy for you and I'll be sorry to see you gone from the game, but please come by the boards often (both here and the DG) because my EQ life would not be complete with your cupcake and your marvelous sigs.

Anyway best of luck and hopefully someday I'll be posting my own 250 tailoring thread.

            /hugs T!

oh gosh, remember when you and I killed like a bazillion spiderlings in Feerot for Falk before the smithing patch? =) Running around like mad, trying to get more silks than the other - heehee!

            /wave Sivle!

I wish I could have come back and hung out with folks on Prexus again...they need to have server visitation available.

The cupcake is DONE! 1750!!! And 7 Trophies! And a fishing pole! That summons beer! Woo! And Tarteene, the enchanting gnomish tinkerer of the 247th bolt and one neato Tinkering Trophy

Congratulations, Chen! I'm so sorry we never got to play together. If you ever wanna start again, I'm sure I'll still be hanging around Xev... til then, have fun with the quilting.

                      Grats, O Glamorous One!

But you just think you're done. I thought I was done when I reached 250 tailoring a while back and got my GM Needle. Now I've added 250 JC and 250 Brewing to my list, and have the other ones at 195-200, all ready to go for the glory (as soon as my CTS calms down a bit).

Only when you see a matching set of 250s across the board can you really be "done"...

                        Can it truely ever end?

Congratulations Chenier, take a well deserved break. Enjoy the feeling of acomplishment, bask in its glory. Share your new found joy with the world. And then, let Chenier sleep...

...but can you truely forget the people who helped you get there? I don't know if I could walk away from the "virtual" friends I have found in Everquest. There are several giving people who have helped me along the road, in everything. Not because it helped them, not out of greed, but simply because they like me. I could see myself getting burned out eventualy, as so many do, but I'd come back because of those friendships. Its not the raids, loots, trade skills, monsters, quests, ect al that makes Everquest worth playing. It's the people that make everqest worth playing.

Well, I guess you couldn't expect a diffrent opinion from a former member of the Aredhel (and no, that shouldn't mean anything to you, but it means the world to me).

We'll see you around Chenier, I'd realy miss your sig if ya left for good.

                          Meirril,

Thanks for your words. You do make a good point - but my situation is that I moved servers for a particular situation that didn't work out. There really is no one on my new server I have any connection with - and very few on my old server that I still talk to (all of whom I do through email or ICQ).

Everyone else who has helped me or that I care about is right here - on boards. =)

I also played this game with my boyfriend - he retired when our situation on the new server changed and I have no desire to raid and xp much without him. Tradeskills was the only thing left for me.

Yes, I could stay and get all the AA's needed to 1750 - but what would be the point? In the same time, I could get back to RL "skills" - my quilting, my writing, learning to cook new things, road trips. All of which will be more fulfilling to me than the pixelated satisfaction I got here.

I completed my goals: lvl 65 with nearly a full spell book, great gear, guilded* with a top tier guild, raided the elementals, gm'ed my primary tradeskill and got my trophy. I now am taking control of this endless game and calling it over for me.

                          /hugs

                          p.s.
And don't think I'm leaving the boards. =) Rar!
