How rare are the components for this stuff? (Storm Volaas Hair and Storm Ent Sap) I'm looking to gather the parts and get a friendly tailor to do the work for me on a pair of sleeves, and I want to know if I'm condemning myself to myriad waste hours trying to get the hair/sap.

Any thoughts?

Hairs drop from the Ocean Giants in Plane of Storms. In about an hour's time I got 7 hairs. The sap I can't help you with, though my guess is ents from PoS drop it. It must be relatively common too because the prices aren't too high in the bazaar, around 1k each.

Well, I've got my sap now... but only one of four needed hairs. Where were you killing giants to get 7 in an hour? I've done a bunch of BoT flagging for guildies in Storms, and have yet to see any hair drop....

Finn already said in his post...Ocean Giants. They are located directly left of when you zone in.

That's not -really- an answer. There are several areas of ocean giants scattered around the large open 'central' area in storms. My point was, I've spent a few hours butchering ocean giants for BoT flags, and not seen hair, so I was wondering there was a specific type or location he was working on.

Killed ocean giants at the minis camp for 2 hours got 1 hair. Any other giants drop these easier?
