Wow! lotsa swatches... hopefully they didn't cost too much. I prefer slaughtering those spiders myself but it does take quite a bit of time.

That's a lot of swatches. Assuming you're gonna do Wu's where do you plan to put all the heady kiolas? =O

Going for robes, we can still skill up on them, right? 8) My tailoring skill is 192. I have some othmir fur caps combine before though (about 20 stacks of furs), some acrylia and wyvern hides.
I spent about 2 hours doing all these combine non-stop. I didn't time actually. I wish they could make bag unmovable with a /lockbags command or something, or like any other windows with the right-click popup menu.

I paid about 6pp each silk, I'm just so ruined . Tailoring is driving me SO nut . The only reason I consented paying that many is because of the mass quantity of silks available from these 2 sellers.

I bought them all at once from a couple people who had around 1500+ silks each. Yeah that's very expensive, but at least it's saving me many hours of farming and I don't have that much time anyway to waste in East Karana.
I think there's about 100 stacks of silk swatches on that picture, so that's 2000 swatches or 4000 silks, minus some swatches I had before, that's a total of around 17k. Ooch! Omg I just spent that many.

6pp a silk is really expensive, I never thought I'd pay that much, but I guess I'm done for some time, unless I get only 1 or 2 skill increases with all these upcoming combines. Which will most likely happen Erm wait, I hope not. Gimme 20 skill increases at least please Mr. Random! and I'll be happy

Overall I estimate Tailoring to cost an average of 50pp per combine, which is about 2000pp per skill increase. 250 - 158 = 92. That's about 200k pp, a lil less actually, it's not that hard Well actually it is
Maybe its just 150k pp to spend. 250 GM Tailors could confirm.
                This sounds right to me.

Please, forgive me if my english sucks.

A picture speaks a thousand words (I think thats the exact saying).

And that picture sure does !

WTG that was a classic, and good luck.

Hmmm... correct me if I'm wrong on the math.

                      6 silk needed for 3 swatches * 6pp each silk = 36pp
                      3 Blessed Dust of Tunare(1 Emerald each) + 3 Celestial Essence = ~45pp

Total cost per combine NOT including Gem Studded Chain successes = 81pp per combine. In line with Wyvern Masks if you didn't need those evil chains.

I think I skilled up twice the whole time trying robes. Granted I only did about 100 robe combines.

In my run for 250, I figure I sold/destroyed 300 wyvern masks. Expect that many robes. Each Gem Studded Chain will run you 500pp(250pp * 2 cuz you still have to pay for failures!) 500 * 300 = 150k!

You're looking at 300k not 150k. Robes might be easier but Wyvern Masks is still cheaper. I know I spent ~150k to make 250 skill. Though I farmed a good deal of my Cod, Othmir Fur, and Velium, it took me over a year of dedicated time farming and such to get there.

                        RE

hmm depending on your monetary situation, i would probably do robe combines first. Once i got past 205ish, i started making more robes=more cost in chains. I have no idea what the robe market is on your server, but regardless you will be outputting ALOT of robes, especially if you do other combines first, upping your skill, thus upping success rate.

Othmir and arctic wyvern trivial greater than 250, so you wont lose possible skill up points from them by waiting. Actually I have heard that they give great skill ups post 230.

as a reference, from 190 to 210, I have averaged about 1 skill up per 30-35 combines-dont remember off the top of my head.

Also, please be kind to your robe market-don't dump all your successes at once at minimum cost value to you
