Updates to Raskii's Exhaustive Tailored Armors Listing

Hey all!

I've created this topic as a place for me to post any updates I've made to my Tailoring List so that everyone here will know when and what I've updated.

Currently, my list contains:[list][*] All normal tailored armors (those that don't require any expansions)[*] All Velious tailored armors[*] All Halfling and Wood Elf Cultural (and Imbued Cultural) tailored armors[*] Erudite Steelsilk (non-imbued)[*] Tattered Hopperhide Armor, and Shaded Hopperhide Armor Luclin tailored armors[/list:u]

Well Drat!

I just found out that the server I'm hosted on doesn't have Database access! :shock:

While that doesn't mean all that much to you right now (except that I'll focus on updating my current page instead of de-kinking my database version), it does mean that I'll have to focus on getting my own server/domain up before I can really do anything more with the site (in terms of functionality and searching, not general content).

Now I'm mad! :evil:

I haven't had much time to work on the listing over the weekend, but I've managed to finish the following:

I've also started to work on a semi-sortable list that shows just the armor name, the type (Cultural, Velious, Luclin, etc.), and the highest trivial. The list will be sortable by at least name and trivial and will allow you to view just the individual armor that you're looking for by lcicking on the name.

Also, I've made arrangements to move my site (once again :?) to a server where I work that will have database access, however, it will probably be a while before I can move it there.

I've gotten up a semi-sortable listing of all the armors I've completed. You can reach it by going here or by clicking on the "Semi-Sortable Armors List" link at the top of Raskii's Exhaustive Tailored Armors Listing.

The bad thing about working full time is the whole full time thing. . .

Oh well, the money isn't all that bad though.

Anyway, on to the updates!

The first thing on my list probably doesn't interest anyone here, but I'll post it anyway:

I've cleaned up the layout of my DB Admin Console and added a little more functionality so that it's easier for me to take the data from the DB and put it into a flat file for use on my web site.

I've also fixed a little problem I ran across while updating my TODO list: In my Exhaustive Tailored Armors Listing, it seems that the two Luclin armors I had weren't showing up when you looked for them. They show up now.

Finally, I've added the following armors to both my Semi-Sortable List and my Exhaustive List:[list][*] Fulvous Woven Platinum Armor (Erudite Imbued Cultural)[*] Neriad's Steelweave Armor (Erudite Imbued Cultural)[/list:u]

That's it for my updates today, but I hope to finish another armor (or two) tomorrow.

Oops!

I forgot that every time I update the page, I need to change those links back what they should be or they won't work in "the real world," just on my dev box.

I've fixed that problem and also corrected both the fact that Reinforced Haze Panther Skin Armor wasen't showing up when you chose "Wood Elf" as a race and the fact that the possible races only showed up if chose "all" or "Human."

Very Nice set up you have. I know how distracting a full-time job can be to EQ, but I was wondering if you were planning on putting in a Misc. section for Quivers and bags and such?

Actually, I've got a couple layout/design friends of mine working on a layout for an actual web site.

Once I get that up (and once I get the Tailored Armors finished; still a long ways off), I'll be adding a similar list for Smithing as well as a couple of other things. Depending on now much work it turns out to be, I might start working on Quivers before the new layout is up.

Also, for those of you wondering when the next update is, I've gathered and organized all the rest of the information for Erudite Cultural and Imbued tailored armors. Now I just need to put it into the DB and print out the tables.

There's still a lot of work to do, but most of it should go rather quickly now.
