Erudite cultural broken?

I hope this hasn't already been mentioned somewhere...

I just recently made it to 201 skill in tailoring, and began working on my Serene Steelweave. I managed to make a couple pieces, and then after I ran out of supplies, I put off doing any more combines until I had a small horde of components. When I started my latest run at cultural tailoring about a week ago, I found that terrorantuala silks are not combining to create the swatches. I checked and rechecked the recipe to make sure that I had it right; using an erudite sewing kit, 2 terrorantuala silks (it really is too simple of a combine to get confused, but I was hoping), and still nothing. I have logged on every day since and /bugreported it.

Anyone else having a similar problem?

I will try today and send a /bugreport as well if it is not working. Since the silks stack now, I have not combined any.

Have you tried doing the silk combine in a regular kit or loom?

I tried the combine in a coldain tanners kit, since I had one handy. Didn't work there, but it's not supposed to work in anything other than an erudite kit anyway.

Of course, you don't get to 200+ tailoring without learning to watch for that

Combinations are definitely working since they were made stackable, or they were yesterday.

I logged in last night at 4:30 am since I was so excited to hear that it was working for you 2, and found nothing has changed for me

I am attempting to combine 2 terrorantula silks in an erudite sewing kit. They are not stacked. I don't get a DNC message, I just get nothing when I click combine.

Interestingly enough, I tried combining a peridot and an acrylia bracer in that same sewing kit, and didn't get a DNC on that either. I am going to log on later today and try destroying my erudite sewing kit and buying a new one. Running out of other ideas

Wait... are the silks poofing, or is it that nothing is happening?

I've had a bug with tradeskill containers for a while, where I press the combine button and nothing happens. The worst I've seen is 19 clicks on the combine button before the combine works.

If the silks are just poofing, however, I'd say /bug it immediately.

Problem solved.

I destroyed the erudite sewing kit that I had been using and then tried the combine in a new one. Worked.
