Get your rod and bait and head to Cobalt Scar. Oh and bring some beer you will be there awhile.

More importantly, bring a couple extra fishing poles and a TON of bait (can't forage bait in the zone).

and after you fish up 20 cod and a zillion other fish, throw 1 cobalt cod and 1 water flask in a brewing barrel..viola! cod oil.

If you don't already have one, get yerself a Skyshrine Key as well. Bait is sold in Skyshrine, so when you run out, just trudge back into SS and buy some more

Bait is on a vendor where the old key mob was. If you are coming in from WL, come down the tunnel, go through the gate, turn right and follow that hallway up some stairs. You will step in a room with another room off it to the left - the vendor is in there.

Excellent to know. I usually port to NRo and run to the barbarian village. one thing though...if I am fishing in CS for Cobalt Cod, I am not coming from the WL zone.

Look in the Trade Supplies listing. Skyshrine Poles and Bait is listed there under the Fishing tradeskill. Purveyor Nish with a Loc.

Wasn't too hard to find. I found him after searching around a bit. I know he's somewhere between the WL entrance and the Bank. And I found him coming in from SS. There aren't too many rooms to look around on the lower floors.

I recently did a run of fishing in CS. I think I averaged 2-3 cods per stack of bait.
