Min skill level for PoP armor?

Whats the lowest skill level you would attmept PoP leather and skil armor?

Yes, I now that its not trivial at 250 but I could really use a few pieces of the armor and there just aren't many high level tailors on my server ( Sullon Zek ). The ones I've know have quit the game or moved to legends. That leaves a very small handfull of tailors with any skill. Right now I don't think any of them are even above the ... 200 level. So I've started tailoring to take up a spot in this missing nitch of my server.

Right now I have a skill of ... 124 and I'll be pushing through to .. 158 as soon as I can get a chanter to 12 and get him .. making viscous mana. After Wu I'll have to rethink my plans to advance my skill. I know people seem to go the rockhopper route to .. +200. Unfortunatly thats a but tricky for me as most of the Rockhopper zones are owned by rival teams ( good and newt ) on my server so going into them to hunt green cons for pelts that drop 1 or 2 an hour ( from what I've heard ) isn't exactly appealing. Enough of my back ground though.

PON silk / leather?

And is there a minimum skill level needed to attempt these items?

Just looking for a lil info. And yes I expect a lot of failures just wondering how many I should expect. Anyone who has tried PoP armour please post you skill level and success rates.

From what i've noticed when I was employed to make some tempest robes, the failure rates seem about the same as solstice robes, I went 1 for 2 at 200 skill + 15 %, then again, 2 tries isn't really a sample size worthy of any kind of conclusion, heh.

A friend in my local uber guild who is 250 + Needle does a lot of the Elemental Stuff (Firestrand, Earthweave, etc) and claims about 50-60% sucess rates.
