HoT bag expansion - new bag recipes?

Any word on how the House of Thule bag slot expansions will affect current bag recipes, or will new one be added?

Any information on these would be covered under the NDA and anyone in beta would be prohibited from talking about it at this time.

My guess, when the NDA is lifted, there will be some overview parses of whats new in HoT on these forums as it happens every expansion.

I understand about the NDA, but has anyone heard any "rumors" as to whether Trader Satchels will increase in capacity? Not looking for a recipe, just wondering if i'll finally be able to put some of my extra crap on my Trader, LOL.

If you just look at the preorder information, you see that you will gain 2 more top level inventory slots and that bags have the capacity to reach 20 slots if you get the collectors addition.

So at a minimum, you will have 20 more slots for your trader.

Keep in mind as you hunt - fantastic silk, fantastic animal pelts, dream dust
Empty bags can be stored inside of bags so tokens will probably not be needed.
It's been said that the trader satchels size increase will be addressed but not before expansion release.

You can find and learn the recipes by going to Darik in the new housing neighborhood entrance pavilion and scribing the two books he offers. (Actually one book with the center section ripped out and sold separately!) It looks like the top level player bags are size 14 100% WR, no trade, made by doing a no-fail combine of a hard-to-make tradable piece and an ingredient Darik sells. The books also seem to describe two new dye recipes for bags.

Working back through the recipes gained from scribing the books, it appears the essential dropped ingredients are 1 fantastic animal pelt, 2 fantastic silk, and 3 dream dust. Alas, I haven't seen any of those drop in the admittedly short time I've been in the new zones, and there's none in the Bazaar. And the Buyer window doesn't seem to know about them so I can't even set up a buy line for the stuff!

I've scribed both parts of this book, but no references to the new 800 weight bags (the ones that are intended only to be used for expanded bank space). Anyone have the recipe yet?

All the Heavy Tailored Legendary (800 weight 14 slot bags) and Tailored Legdendary (0.1 weight 14 slot bags) containers and their recipes should be in the DB now.

Thanks for the updates! Just kinda sux that the Overweight Bags use the same ingredients as the WR ones. On Povar, the price of silks and pelts in the Bazaar is stupid-high (as you know)....

What exactly is the point of a bag that weighs 800 lbs when you can make a bag that weighs next to nothing with almost the exact same ingredients???

I'm also stunned to see the trivial so high on these, and that they become no-drop once they are further size increased and/or dyed. Why go through the massive development effort to increase the bag capacities only to make it so (relatively) inaccessible??

There is a 2500pp difference between the solution to make the heavy ones and the solution to make the light ones (a relative nit imo)....barring that, yes, I don't disagree at all that it's odd that the trivials are so high and the ingredients are identical for these recipes. There is another set of recipes that I have yet to explore in detail, I did as much as I could yesterday - will work on more this weekend.
