Yew leaves??

Hi there,

I recently started playing EQ again after a very long absence, and discoverd a stack of yew leaves that I had purchased for a friend waaaay back when. I remember paying 2k for the stack (100p per) and was wondering - what are these little buggars worth now? I wasn't sure if they were still hard to come by, or if changes had been made to make them easier to come by, thus worth less. Any feedback is appreciated.

Yew leaves are still a single zone rare forage. On Firiona Vie they sell easily for 50pp, you may be able to get 100 for them on your server. I very rarely see them for sale in the bazaar, but if you have them, tailors will definately buy them.

Yew Leaves are the choke point for making panther skin armour, the Black Panther Hides are not too hard to get (Haze is a different story), in my experience. And collecting small bricks of Velium for the bonings is not that big of a deal either. But the Yew Leaf Tannin is the big killer, and as the previous poster stated only a single zone forage/ground spawn.

They will sell at 100pp each, maybe even more, perhaps not overnight but they will sell imo.

I'm on the Luclin Server. I bought a lot of them at 50pp. I don't buy at 100pp, but I rarely see them now for any price. The price for the armor has also dropped considerably.

They used to be ground spawns. They are now also foraged, but there are so many things on the WL forage table that they are super-rare (one every couple hours).

I may just stop making them altogether when I finish off my yew leaves. The profit is no longer there.

On Terris-Thule you hardly ever see yew leaves for sale in the bazaar and when you do it is 100-300pp per and I doubt they sit long looking for a buyer. However like Pinyon said, it is gettting harder and harder to sell the armor so soon it will be a skill up only combine. Tunics barely sell at 2500pp and other pieces' prices are way lower. From the lok of what people have for sale and how long it seems to sit there Black Panther skin stuff doesn't move well. It is no wonder either between the stats really not being that good and the fact that reinforced acrylia stats for the most part are better and easier to do.

Same scenario on Sol Ro. Lots of vendors with Panther armor just sitting there and never moving. Prices about the same as above. Yew Leafs are rare in the Bazaar. Expect a minimum of 25pp each, but I'm sure you could get more.

The leaves are still ground spawns, but almost impossible to spot.
