New "weapon tailoring" scrolls in PoK

There are various XXX weapon tailoring scrolls in PoK purchased from Tratlan Matrick, named:

Elegant Weapon Tailoring
Ornate Weapon Tailoring
Intricate Weapon Tailoring
Inured Weapon Tailoring
Simple Weapon Tailoring
Ornate Weapon Tailoring

Each costs 8pp 3gp 9sp 9cp to a 342 CHA player. I scribed each one, yet I cannot find any new recipes. =\ However, each book mentioned things such as "recipes that will use <insert ore> metal pieces, dusty marrow, <insert type> filament, <insert type> animal pelt".

The most interesting was one that mentioned immaculate animal pelts and vanadium ores (which do not exist yet as far as I know!). All of them also said they use dusty marrow. I have not tried any combines yet, but will play around with it soon.

Does anyone else know anything about this? Am I crazy for thinking this is new? =D

I certainly think it's new, probably the big question of should it be on the live servers yet? It could of course be part of the new defiant type items that are supposed to be a bridge to the better gear so people have a decent gear path as well as improved leveling and AA paths.

I'm not sure. They repopped PoK this morning, and with it was the new components I'm seeing on certain vendors, including these scrolls. The fact that no recipes showed up, however, makes me wonder if it's supposed to be in yet. However, you can break down the ores now (we tried file + rhenium, made rhenium barbs, trivial at 290 smithing), so maybe it is supposed to be live. (hoping, sounds exciting!)

it means the merchant requirements did not make it in arg!

Not supposed to be live yet. Not gonna take anything away though. At some point soon those will disappear from vendor for a while. I am making no further comments on them either.

Thanks for the reply. I was figuring it shouldn't be live when I saw it wasn't on test yesterday. Gives us something to look forward to! Thanks. =D

I got some immaculate silk today in Steam Factory... its temporary though

I tried so many combinations that I got a headache -- could not figure out a recipe. I have a feeling this is why it's not supposed to be live yet... they must be unfinished. Surprised that the immaculate silk is temporary, unfortuneately I don't think there's a way for you to utilize it yet. =\

There are definitely bugs in it. As I mentioned this stuff is first pass, BEFORE any real testing has been done, and was not supposed to be live

There is a similar file on recipes to the file for merchants that should keep most of the recipes from working (the ones I care about at least, some I did not care about so they would work, but those are usually just sub-combines)

The recipes restrictions files made it in, the merchant restrictions did not.
