Database updates going slow?

I see the in-game books for combines on the new cultrual changes, but I dont see very much of it on eqtraders?

anyone know why?

This is one huge databse being manned by very few people.

It takes time.

This database doesn't run on in-game information, it's run by players submitting info in the proper forum. And it helps for the player to actually make the item to confirm the recipe works.
Therefore, don't expect a huge update within 1 week after launch.

The stuff from the original cultural update hasnt even been entered and has been submitted for weeks and weeks. I expect it will take until next expansion.

Sadly, yes, we do have a backlog of info to work on. Hopefully, once the coming holiday is over, we'll have a bit of free time to get stuff entered.
