Excellent/Superb Pelt Drops Area's?

I know they can drop off any humonid/animal of there level range, but i am wondering if anyone has found a good spot to farm 5-6+/hour. I need my last 8 points in tailoring, and having a hard time finding enough to buy in baz. Any help is appreciated.

You can also wait for Tuesday's patch and the fix that goes in for silk templates and use Excellent/Superb silks to skill up.

Ive found Ashengate to be a good place to farm superb silks/pelts etc.

69.1 - hard. Well, any of the tasks that take place in the Hive seem to have a good drop rate on the Superb / Excellent variety.

Did some Thallius instanced missions yesterday and was getting a decent drop rate of all types. There are golem types as well as humanoids so we got some of each and I think we also got 1 superb spinneret fluid and 1 soluble loam from 2 runs through the Coral Diving instance. All were superb silk/animal pelt or cobalt ore.

I have found if you watch the bazaar, or set up a buyer, you may have some success as there is no vendor value on these items so people can go to the bazaar and just sell them to a buyer and are getting at least something for them.

Drops for excellent/superb

I've been camping Zoriles in Stonefalls for the past few weeks. Excellent silks and pelts dropping all the time, superbs appear now and then. No problem to get 5-6 per hour.

I didn't see that mentioned in the patch message and thought I read somewhere Ngreth said that wouldn't go in until the SoF patching..... am I wrong? Can anybody confirm or know for sure?

It sure looks like it went in. I got about a dozen skillups last night on a pile of silk I've been hoarding (I took a gamble )

I said that... then I also said somewhere that it was going in early. They did combines for the Hotzones... since those were coming out I got to spend a few hours reversing changes... and them making the changes again yesterday!

I can confirm that you can gain skill ups on Silk templates. I had about a 1 in 30 rate going from 265 to 271 last night on what I had gathered up over the past week or so.

Oh, so glad I decided to wander through the forums tonight. I've got bags (literally) of excellent silk that I've stockpiled while waiting for this fix.
