The old DoN recipes didn't have anything in the cloak, gorget, mask or belt department, and I noticed that the new ones do. Was it intented that they be practice only, or will there be new quested patterns to match? Will we have to do the original quest over to get the new patterns?

There's no new armor.
These templates have very broad applications, the DoN cultural is just one of the many things they will eventually be used for. -
You are both correct.
For now it is just skillups
In the future it may be for a sub-part on other armor.
