Ahhhhhhhh stuck at 210

Been a lurker here for years.... just had to vent to a crowd that would understand...

Been at 210 for awhile now...

more than 40 solstice robe attempts.. actually made 5 of them
more than 20 black panther armor attempts... made 3
more than 10 cobalt drake attempts... all failures
about 20 reinforced acrylia masks...got a mule full of these **** things..

and no **** skill ups.....

why do we do this to ourselves....

Since you have 210, maybe you should try some strand of ethereal combines. Components are easy to get, just need a GM brewer to make the temper for you. One of my guildies got 2 points off 8 combines.

Gonna agree with the Ethereal. If you have a Geerlok too, you should have no problem being high enough in skill to attempt the combines (they are level restriced now). How's your Brewing skill?

I did the ethereal route for checks 211-212. It took me 22 combines for my 2 skill checks(wish all checks would come that easy).

Never thought of trying ethereal. I have 168 brewing. Might give that a shot tonight since I have a geerlok. Tried more reinforced acrylia and panther armor last night... about 20 attempts and no skill ups... still stuck at 210.

You'll need a brewer with at least 210 + geerlok to make the temper for you. In order to make temper and tailoring combine, both skills have to be 220 (either 210 + geerlok or straight skill).

I just recerntly made it from 212 to 213 but it took 120 combines to do it. I've been averaging around 80 combines per skill up recently ;-b

Made it to 215... took me well over 100 combines to get from 210 to 211... another 100 or so attempts and I got to 213.

But last night I sat down with only 12 reinforced acrylia masks to attempt as we waited for KT to spawn. On the 5th mask I got to (214) and on the 8th I got to (215) :shock:

Guess that makes up for the dry spells.

BTW - I am on the Nameless where **** cod oil goes for 50pp....people seem to want to **** tailors for components and then everyone complains when we want cash for a combine.
