Tannan Mastery

I recently achieved the rank of 200 tailor....god help me. Anyhow, I am GM Jeweler *250 and trophy* . I wish to raise Tailoring up to 250 as well.
Ive spent the 3 points it requires to train New Tannan Crafting Mastery.

Now here is my question for you! Under the description of said AA skill, it mentions something about Training with the sages and merchants of New Tannan to hone the skill. Do I need to speak with an NPC before my skill will go up? Reason I ask this is, ive done 150+ combines and still havent hit 201. While this may be a freakish thing to some, realize I havent went more then 30 combines EVER without a skill up. I may have been just lucky, I dunno. Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.

Nope just make sure none of your other trade skills have gone above 200 (aside from jewel craft) and try try again. I have had runs of as much as 287 combines for 1 skill up. You don't need to train with an NPC just keep combining.

I've been a little confused about this too, but as mentioned just skill up past 200 on the trade you want. Goodluck Dazzler
