last week i spend hours setting up a human tailor to take advantage of the easy path. shissar scales. doing the tasks, getting the books then finally hours in ssra temple. drag myself to freeport and convert 180 scales into 164 swatches. and get only 7 skill ups. yeah - yuck. Figure I am in for the long haul. Wonder if they changed something already. Thinking I should face south instead of north or go to another zone. Or make a new needle since this one is unlucky. All the things every one of you have thought before.
Instead I go back to Ssra and farm 175 scales more. convert to 169 swatches and bang those out in same place with same needle and same buffs. and get 21 skill ups. /boggle. wish I had more scales.

If you melt it a little and push real hard, you may be able to get it in the floppy disk slot. If your computer is too new to have one... there is also the CD/DVD tray!

Yeah, the RNG is indeed a funny thing. Prior to getting stuck at 299 JC, I spent a total of 8 combines at 299 on both poison and pottery. Got 299 and 300 back to back on pottery actually. (This was clearly to make up for needing nearly 300 combines to get 299 make poison from 298...)

Been farming nightmare arachnid silk to work on tailoring before it gets the nerf bat, and the first set of 110 swatches yeilded 11 skill ups. The next set of 60 returned 6, but I got all 6 of those skill ups in the first 15 combines of the run. /shrug Sometimes the RNG loves ya, sometimes it hates ya.
