Halfling Cultural Armor (DoN)

I attempted to make a Journeyman's Longstrider Swatch:
Combined in Vale Sewing Kit the following:
Medium Quality Wolf Skin
Small spool of Mercurium Thread
Vale Needle.
Results: Simple Longstrider Swatch

(sighs) needed a Journeyman's Longstrider Swatch.

Is there anyone else attempting Halfling cultural since new DoN recipe changes?

To my knowledge, only the names have changed (Journeyman is Simple, Expert is Ornate, etc.) not the recipes yet. You should be able to make the armor with the swatch. I did some half-elf chain after the names were changed and had no problem using the original recipes. I thought I saw an estimated date in August for the recipe changes to go through, but don't quote me on that.

Correct - journeyman is simple, currently you are seeing new names on the old recipies/results which is the confusion. The recipe changes are due in August - see the stickied thread in the General Tradeskills forum.
