I'm working on skilling up again for all trade skills since I came back to game unfortunatly my original tradeskill char was on a different account and I'm not 4boxing anymore.

Now from what I remember their is a combine from Jewelery making that can be used to skill up tailoring it's a bit on the expensive side but since I have to skill up jewelery anyway I may as well do it.

Question is I can't remember for the life of me which recipes they are. Anybody happen to know?

You are probably thinking about the chains for the Ceremonial solstice robes

CHains trivial at 335 for JC, and robes at 252 for tailoring.

Ahh yes that was it thanks. Had been planning on skilling up jewelery first. And since tailoring is such a pain figured I'd solstice robes also.

It's not an answer to your original post, but now you can get one or two JC skillup chances per tailoring combine with the new TBS sunshard pebble and ore combines. It's worth taking a look at anyways. I decided to just do that for my JC, since I will be doing both tailor and smith combines. The only problem is the sunshard supply seems to be stretched thin by folks using it for three different tradeskills.

Actually sunshard stuff can be used to skill up in Smithing, Tailoring, Pottery, Research, Tinkering, and Jewelcraft.

Even if you don't do the quest though, take a look at the tradeskill combines, you can farm extra components apart from those you need to loot during the quest, and skill up to 190 in several skills
