Spent the last several hours trying to get everything to get that one last skillup in tailoring. Tried farming for more shissar scales, I was getting maybe 1 every 30 min or so, awful RNG.

Tried Master aug and found a seller who had lots of CDD very cheap so I got them and farmed nightmare arachnid silks. Decent drop rate but out of nearly 20 attempts, zero skillup.

Mowed down WL killing every flying monkies. 1 hour only 1 holgresh fur. Lots of mojo sticks though.

Went back to bazaar and found some shissar scales so I bought em all. left 18 cuirass and 17 legs rotting on the ground in Shar Vahl and still zero skillup.

Wasted about 30k and 8 hours in total. Right now I have only 29pp left.

This is cold comfort, but imagine what it would be like if shissar scales were not a skillup option for you. Most readers here have a far harder path for Tailoring advancement.

That's very rough considering you're doing cultural but it can and does happen. For me it was getting 293.

As an aside and FWIW: Getting one scale in half an hour is providing a nice counterpoint to all the posts I have seen that described drop rates way beyond anything I've ever experienced. I have had half hours without seeing even one drop but that, or one per half hour, is certainly not average.

I got that one last skillup a couple days ago and posted in 300 tailor thread. Forgot about this one as my computer's hard drive died just when I was about to get started on that last point.
