Lfay Ground Spawns - Help pls!

I'm sitting here for hours and not getting respawn on the different extract ingredients that are ground spawns in the faerie camp in Lesser Fay.

Does anyone know the spawn timer for the ground spawns in that camp?
is there more than one area where this stuff can spawn?

i was able to get one cycle of spawns but so far (many hours later) no respawn as of yet

any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

btw: im referring to the jack-o-lantern fungus, sarcophycus (sp) fungus ground spawns used in the new colored bags.

Ooooh, I'm relying on some extremely old memories here, but I want to say it's on the order of 12-24 hours. In the fine plate days I used to just swing by once a day to check for them.

Edit: For some reason 15 hours keeps sticking in my mind. It might have been 15 hours.

personally I gave up on the groundspawns.. and am going after the mob drop versions...

Permafrost have much shorter respawn time so it's easier to farm the 9 ground spawn (are there more?) and while you're at it, kill the goblins around that area. about 1 in 10 drops them. So Blue, dark blue, and purple would be fairly common.

IMO Evergreen is the most common. I have 5 groundspawns mapped out and there are often 4-6 piled in each area plus repops in 7 min so green would be the most common/easiest to make.

Black also ranks up there as I often find charcoal on vendor since they are common drop.

Iron Oxide is somewhat easy to find but I didn't map any since I never had the need to do it before so it's a hit or miss for me. But if the spawn is consistient and not insanely long, then orange bags should rank with blue.

That leaves yellow, red, and white as the rarest. Not counting the Lfay ground spawn, I get maybe 2 jack-o-lantern in Unrest and almost never any sarcosypha there. Innothule swamp mob supposedly drops them but I never found any in the 50 or so I killed. I do get 2 or 3 per clearing of the 6 fungus mob in upper guk.

The colored backpacks have been selling like hotcakes ever since I linked all 9 colored bags (non tokenized version so they can see the colors) in /ooc and I've made over 20k so far. I have about 60 HQ wolf skins and 100 HQ bear skins so I could make lots more.

If the timer hasn't changed, respawn in Steamfont is somwhere between 21 and 23 hours (I've never been able to quite pin it down but it seemed to be just shy of 24 hours).

I used to park a mule character there, invis, and just log them in once a day and see if they are spawned.

After sitting and watching rather closely I can confirm it is more than 12 hours. 14 hours no spawn.

I went down to Innothule swamp a couple of nights ago and got 3 of the sarcosypha fungus in a very short time, 2 from fungus spores (killed only 3) and one from fungus man tracker or whatever it's called. MUCH easier than waiting for a ground spawn.

If memory serves (talking year 2000 here), you can get decent drop rate for the fungus off of the scarecrows that spawn on the farmlands in the SouthWest corner of W Karana. That is where I used to farm the components for dyed fine steel back when you could actually sell it.

I tried WK again and I had to break up a fight between 2 scarecrows who were trying to kill each other.

Still nada. I'll stick with Unrest. Chance of more than 4 outside the place, all much closer together, and they don't aggro each other.

How's Unrest working for anyone else? I spent two and a half hours there tonight clearing the yard until a couple of folks showed up to exp, when I started leaving them enough to keep them occupied. I got a whopping two jack-o-lantern fungus off the roughly 25 scarecrows I killed. Between respawns I poked my head into the basement to take out the fungus guys there but didn't get any sarcoscypha fungus off the six or so of them I killed.

An hour spent ambushing fungus men in Innothule a few days ago turned up two sarcoscypha fungus. Rather disheartening, really.

I still haven't caught fairy camp spawns up in LFay but did find the oxides up both times I've checked Steamfont. The one time I looked for evergreen leaves in GFay they were picked clean.

I feel so glad I am such a hoarder, I had enough stuff in bank(s) to make 1/2 to 1 stack of each color.

I get 3 or 4 jack-o-lantern fungus in Unrest per 2 hours of farming. Also maybe just 1 sarcosypha fungus in basement every other clearing, the basement seems to be on 15 or 20 min timer.

I get maybe 1 or 2 sarcosypha per clearing of fungus in upper guk but have had a few dry runs before.

Also I think the groundspawn in Lfay is closer to 24 hours. Almost never see them up anyway.

So red, yellow, and white bags would remain rarer than other for the time being.

Now I have a competitor in bazaar but he's priced his stuff a lot more than mine (1500pp each) Would be keeping an eye on that one

PS Evergreen is the most common and I still sold some evergreen leaves (not extract, dye, or bag) as high as 250pp each!

I've found Lfay up once, found 3 Jackolantern, 2 Sarcothingy and 2 blue fungus. Cleared the outsides of Unrest 4 times with my druid, I think I got ~6 Jackolanterns with 0 drops (didn't try inside cause people were exping in the house). Tried the fungi in UGuk, 3 clearings, 0 drops. I have yet to find groundspawns in Greater Fay, but the tree in Mesa seems to be good for 2-3 every time I remember to go through.

My current problem is actually the high quality wolf hides... I've got oodles of black, blue and orange dyes, but I ran out of hides just making most of what I wanted for myself. I suppose I should start selling them but.. I want my skittles bank!
