  • Cultural recipies in non PoK containers

I am not sure how many are affected, but for Iksar cultural masters I use Nightmare Spider silks and need to make them into swatches. For the final cultural combine I need a special Iksar Sewing Kit, but I cannot make the swatches in this kit.

Is this common among other cultural combines? It seems unnecessary to keep two sewing kits ready so I can have a PoK kit or loom ready to do a subcombine.

well wouldnt mind having sub combines added to the cultural contianer. but I usually just use the delux sewing kit for all my non cultural combines =)
Note: Due to a hand injury caused by a friend throwing a broken scissor into my hand my typing = crap. So dotn be so critical.

I did mess up a bit, that was for symbols, my silk is ice burrower silk, but often I am making symbols with armor. Still ...

Storm Volaas hairs for Master's cultural tailoring alos require the use of a POK loom.

Use a collapsible tailoring kit; I know it works for nightmare silks and storm volaas combines, because I have done both.

The collapsable you can summon when you need and destroy afterwards. If that is too much work, then use the loom.

I was trying to get the quest for the iksar masters aug book and told that I wasn't the right lvl (I'm 55) anyone else run into that? Is it a bug or am I missing something?

It's not about it being to much work, or to difficult. It's about the simple fact that some (DON) cultural recipes require two containers Vs. one.. Many races are able to do their cultural combines in their hometowns, while a few have to bounce between home and POK (home for ingredients, POK for Tannan containers, and sometimes Back to home for final cultural commbine)

I made some changes that I believe will fix it so that it will work in the appropriate cultural containers. It is something the should work but I have never tested and cannot effectively test until a patch to test or Beta

If it does not work I have other, less optimal solutions.

This is for the Nightmare Arachnid Silk and Storm Valas hair.

I currently have 3 different sewing kits.

Nightmare Arachnid Silk combine must be done in Planar Kit
Then, I use that swatch in my Cultural Kit to make the master augment
And, of course, I do some Velious combines, which require the Coldain Kit.

                      (hopes Ngreth fix works)
