Hi, I was hoping to get some more help. It's been abit and I am now 213 tailoring ( thank god ) and we have now unlocked PoP, LoY, and LDoN. I was wondering if there was any more ways of getting my skill up without spending another god forsaken amount of plat. The prices of arctic wyvern hides and Flawless Rockhopper hides have started to climb at a very fast rate. I have quaded I have farm but it still comes down to buying hides if i want fast skillups and an now at very low funds. So any help will be welcome. Thank you to anyone who can assist me.

With LoY you can make plat ribbons just need to make a couple shears and your cultural sewing needle. Its not cheep however the plat ribbons cost 100pp each:-(
My bad the highest trival on plat ribbons is 187 but the robes they are used in makeing trival alot higher.
There are alot of PoP recipies however they all need at least one super rare drop to make the cureing agents:-(Last edited by Zaltak; 11-26-2006, 09:19 AM.

the "base" fail rate cap is 5%
there is a FAQ on these boards that will go into more detail on how this is sometimes adjusted.Ngreth Thergn

- For normal recipe, min failure chance is 5%.
- For recipe where your skill (UNMODIFIED) is more than than the trivial, the min failure chance is reduce by 1% for every 40 points over the trivial your skill is.
If your (UNMODIFIED) skill is 1-39 points over the trivial level = 5% failure rate
If your (UNMODIFIED) skill is 40-79 points over the trivial level = 4% failure rate
If your (UNMODIFIED) skill is 80-119 points over the trivial level = 3% failure rate
If your (UNMODIFIED) skill is 120-159 points over the trivial level = 2% failure rate
If your (UNMODIFIED) skill is 160-199 points over the trivial level = 1% failure rate
If your (UNMODIFIED) skill is 200 points over the trivial level = no fail combine
- This min failure chance can be overridden in data by the designer on a per recipe basis, replacing it with a higher value. (Example: Dragons of Norrath Grandmaster Cultural Armor)

Until your skill gets higher, you might want to look into the solstice robes. If you farm your own parts (spider silk and imbued emeralds) the cost is somewhere around 50p per failure and 300p per success. The odd thing about these are that you'll want to fail since success consumes the expensive chain. So, your skill gets closer to trivial (252) it's less and less viable. In other words, make sure you're not wearing your geerlok or trophy.-- Mewkus: 2100 dings on the server formerly known as Solusek Ro
