greyhopper hide boots correction

uh- first time here and was working on my tailoring up to 95

BUT.... in the EQtrader tailoring info list, there was a mention about boots require 2 greyhopper hides...
tried it with two hides... nope cannot combine
tired it with one hide.... yep it worked. made boots and gave it to a newbie

1 greyhopper hide plus pattern for mask, gorget, wristband, sleeve, gloves, belt, boot, shoulderpad, helmet, cloak

2 greyhopper hides plus pattern for tunic, pants

No clue, I skipped from Cured silk to Wu's... so I could keep farming the same stuff.

it's not easy to farm in certain zones when you are a dark elf and you are kos in certain zones you wanted to farm in :? so I try to save up money and check out at the marketplaces and bazaars

my next goal is to make quiver
really should start on smithing though

One can get Spider silks and HQ pelts in EK without going anywhere near NPCs that your KoS to, you just gotta keep your eye open for the Squire and Sargent dude when you cross the road.
While gathering silk I got more than enough HQ pelts to trivial quivers after trivializing greyhopper armor.

Anyway, for silks and HQ pelts, EK is by far the easiest place. I've got a 32 warrior there hammering everything in sight. HQ pelts and MQ pelts drop in about the same ratios off of lions, and I'll find one or both on half or more of the lions I kill. Sir Morgan and his squire and dk blue and green, respectively, to my warrior so a 40 wiz has nothing to fear from them.
