  • Ikkinz 4 Tailoring

From the Database I see the Trival for this combine is 159, but am also told is has a minimum skill value.

Thus, I have a few questions:

What is the minimum skill level nessercary?
    Can you fail the combine?
Is the Trival of 159 Correct?

And Finally, what is the fastest (assuming I am willing to sink money into it) way to reach the trival nessercary for the combine (assuming you can fail it).

    Thank you for your time

If you could post which combine are you talking about (recipe name/link) that would help

      Ikkinz Raids and Tailoring

I'm guessing the combine he's referring to is part of the Ikkinz flagging raid series. (Discord Progression: Open Ikkinz Raid #4) It's listed under the Tublik Narwethar's Tasks section: Task #1 - Crumbled Sanctuary.

To address your concern about the highest trivial needed, the hynid-hair thread is trivial 268 Tailoring. There are plenty of helpful hints about increasing your Tailoring skill under the Tailoring area in the forums.

Are you referring to the combine during Ikky4 where you have to chat up the Priest and get the pieces from him?

The Ikkinz 4 raid, Chambers of Destruction, has an event where a priest must combine four Dried Segment of Flesh in a sewing kit to make a Parchment of Flesh. This is handed in to bring two golems to life, who must then be killed to open the passage to the final events for this trial.

I've done this enough times with my cleric so that I know how to survive bringing the golems to life. I've also heard that there is a minimum skill required but don't know what it is. My cleric has 170 Tailoring, or slightly higher. The combine itself seems to be no-fail. Even if you managed to fail the combine, however, you could simply ask the npc for more Dried Segment of Flesh and try again.

The parchment is not what activates the golems, you have to chat up the priest and go to the 2 closed rooms and pick up the pieces that will bring the golems to life. If you are a druid as soon as you hand the piece in to the 2nd golem simply hit your exodus to avoid going splat. There is no respawn in the instance so you can simply run back to the raid.

I believe you have to have a minimum skill level of 100 to attempt the tailoring combine.

The write up I have used in the past says minimum skill of 100. I would link here but am at work and cannot get to from here

Simply hand in the second piece at maximum arm's length from the golem and it will not attack you. Then you can just walk back to rejoin your raid force.
