How to get past 275?

Heh, I see I didn't specify what I am trying to get to 275 with. I am making prepared sporali skins...

Sporali skins seem to be farmed in much greater numbers now than earlier, and I know they drop in some of the TSS zones. They sell for about 700 to 1000pp in bazaar. Only other thing you need are the witheran biles, which are "easily" farmed even by pallies solo in Stoneroot! Still at 271 skill though, but hoping I am able to get to the trivial of this combine (275) just by making them. A skinning knife is also required, but returned on combine.

Made about 45-50 of them for one skillup so far, but crossing my fingers...

Its extremely slow going, and unless I decide to buy pp ebay style (yuck...)and set up a buyer in bazaar for the items I need, I don't really know how to get to 300 in less than a year or two RL time...

Already spent the time from when the cap was raised from 250 to 300 getting 21 skill ups as it is.

ive put up the bile in barter ... but no one bit.

Biles were rare-ish during dodh ... now with the new expansions i can only assume its even less avaiable.

Ill try the farming thing.

The bile has been pretty rare. I had a stack of sporali skins from guild doing that Shroom King raid. Those little adds he spawns often drop the skin.

I ended up spending 2k each for bile. Got 1 skill up though, plus I use those parchments to make instructions, so I get the money back eventually.

Witheran bile isnt necessarily hard to farm. The trick is to leave the normal witheran alone and just kill the little suckers that pop out of the coral in stoneroot falls. yeah they hit kinda fast and hard.... but they have diddly for hp (1 shot kills as a 70 wizard back when I camped it). Seemed to drop 1 in 3 or 4 kills for me..... and I got xp doing it (not great, but it WAS xp)

Tried farming the nightmare arachnid silks for the first time since lvl 70.

Very easy now, also the Terror Martriarch who pops now and then in the area. Only annoyance are the traps.

Depending on the rarity of Crushed Diamond Dust, this is by far preferable to farming othmirs.
