help with skilling up past 158

Hi, I am on the combine server so I can't go the DoN route and I am currently getting the items for arctic wyv armor. now masks take the least components but I see people keep saying go the hat route is there a reason to this?

I just looked up the cap recipe same comps I guess but still curious why caps and not masks?

Skullcaps tribute for 924, while the masks only get 18. You're trading a little extra cost for a much greater market value. I don't know much about cost/availability of items on the progressive servers, but unless velium is a lot harder to come by on the Combine, it's a smart move.

Personally though, I recommend wristbands. Two studs as opposed to the three for caps, and tributes for 802.

velium is really easy to get really. but the hides go for about 50pp a pop. i have 6 stacks atm. is there an alternate cheaper route? dunno if halfling cultural would be good

Also remember, there's no tribute on the Combine or Sleeper servers.
So, while on normal servers it makes sense to go the cap route.. on progressive servers, go whichever way you want.

i would like to go the path of least agony. but would that be cultural or just stick to actic wyvs?

stick to wyvern or go for rockhopper.
Also, don't forget to stock up on othmir furs.

Well considering thats a skill up every 7.2 combines I would say that rocks.
