Coalesced mana

At the risk of sounding like a complete and total fool, on all of the Vial of ##### Mana it says this is a component. Is this component just to research the spell that is to be used to make the vial or does coalesced mana actually have to be used in the combine to make the (just say) vial of viscous mana? Forgive me if this is an obsurd question. I havent tried to ever do trade skills in the 5 years I have been playing. Now i have my Drak Ranger and omg I am so hooked. In two weeks Baking is 202, Brewing 176, Pottery 185, Smithing 175, Fletching 175 and im now starting on tailoring. Going to be focusing on picnic baskets until trivial and banking them for MTP's then moving to hand made back packs up to Lemming Fur and Tai Ew packs but wanted an alternate route with the Luclin armors because I have a ton of acrylia in the bank for the leather stuffs.

there are 2 ways to make vials of mana.

The first way (most common and cheapest) is to have a chanter make them with there spells (a different spell for every type). This uses some gems (kind and number depends on the type of mana vial) and a poison vial.

The second way is to do a combine in a research kit (only works if you are a wiz/mage/ecn/nec ). This combine is more expensive as it needs more gems, some coalesed mana and clestial essence and requires a certain skill in research depending on the type of mana vial you want. The advantage of this combine is that it doesnt require a chanter.

Seeing that you are neither a chanter nor an int caster I would suggest you try to find a friend chanter to make the vials.

Tae ew packs are nice to make but due to the rarity of the components it isnt realy a good skill up path.

Great my gf has a 66 chanter and can make the vials, glad i dont have to go farming for coalesed mana. You just made my day.
