Folded Silkfang pack quest

Without ending up hating me, could I convince someone with high tailoring skills ( my highest toon is a weak 134) to make a Silkfang pack and let me know what the trivs are? The overall quest is mindnumbing. I worked on it for 4 hours killing greys before I hit the point that tradeskills are needed. You may be able to just skip the quest and make the items. I am stuck on one of the subcombines. The quest (so far) takes place in Goru'kar Mesa with a named fairy, Dorina. The subcombine I am stuck is this:

combine 4 wolf canine beads, 5 snake fang beads and 1 spider silk thread in a loom.

Wolf Canine Beads = A Wolf canine and sewing needle in a loom/sewing kit.
yeilds 1. Triv at 50.
Snake Fang Beads = Large Snake Fang and sewing needle in a loom/sewing kit. Yeilds 1. Triv at 50
Spider Silk Thread = Eight ( 8 ) spider silk in a loom/sewing kit. Yeilds 1. Triv at 50.

I am going to drive myself further insane and skill-up my tailoring with the poor toon that has the quest. I am going to complete this thing if they have to cart me away in an "I-love-me" jacket afterwards.

Update

The triv was 92 for that combine. Final combine was 170 for the Folded Silkfang Pack. If I get something from it I will let you know.

I'm good for doing mind-numbingly long, grey quests.

I started the Dorina quest line over the weekend. I had no idea what the end result was supposed to be. But I want to know, is this the "gift" Dorina wants me to eventually give to Simu?

If so, has anyone actually given him the gift to advance the quest to see what's next, if anything?

The end reward for this questline is your choice of one of four auguments. The bag is just part of the quest.

I finally did a successful combine to make the Folded Silkfang Pack, handed it to
Dorina who asked me to give it to Simu, who told me to give it back to Dorina.
Dorina told me to keep the bag and to go to Crescent Reach and ask Alchemist
Naeema about a *philter of inamorata*.

Hailing Naeema gets me a *hello, do you like it here?* and will not respond to
anything concerning *philter of inamorata*.

I thought there would be another quest from Naeema to make a *love potion* for Dorina but I'm not willing to spend hours trying every possible combination
of text / action to trigger the quest.

I just want to do the quest and have no interest or use for any of the quest rewards.

Either your spelling is off or it is now bugged. I got her to respond and did the quest. I did not do the final stage because it was at that point I saw the reward was a chioce of 3 items for level 30 toons.

That dialog checks to see that you have the task and that you are on the correct step (the first step) so you just have to be sure that you have those conditions when you say "philter of inamorata" to her.

Is it necessary to progress through this quest to make the bag, or can the bag be made independently of it? I read that it takes several hours to go through the quest up to the bag stage. I'd like to replace my collapsible toolkit with this because of the weight reduction, but I don't think it'd be worth hours doing the pre-quests.

Anyone find a source for the Supple Wolf Pelt?

ATM, is is not required to do the quest to make the bag. As for the supple wolf pelt, they drop from the wolves in zone. Sometimes they will also drop from the two spell vendors.

I double checked and for some reason I wasn't assigned the next stage but I
returned to Dorina and went through all the hails again and was given the
task to go speak with Naeema.

Fast forward to a few day later and I've completed the quest, fun fun =)

Also completed it on my 53 sk alt, xp for killing the mobs is ok even if they're green to 53.

On a side note, I tried, on my 53 shadowknight, to repeat the quest but was
told by Dorina that she had nothing to offer, bummer.
I don't think having all 4 augments is overpowering at that level considering
what can be purchased using DoN crystals, trivial to farm with my ranger.

Nonetheless, I had a ton o' fun doing this quest on both characters. /cheers

I just attempted to combine:

Backpack Pattern (1)
Supple Wolf Pelt (1)
String of Teeth (1)
Spool of Spider Silk Thread (1)

in a Deluxe Sewing Kit and a Loom in Crescent Reach... and got the DNC... will try again tonight to see if it was just a temporary bug.
