Cultural tailoring on the progression servers?

Anyone know when the imbued vale armor got into the game.. Im playing on the Combine server (progression) and are not able to combine the imbued vale studded tunic.. Was this a Velious combine, even though it only needs kunark drops?

Can make the non imbued version...

I spent a lot of money and time getting my tailoring up for steelsilk, only to find out it's all wasted.

I have apparently also wasted a lot time a plat getting materials for the imbued vale armor and getting my smithing high enough to make the vale sewing kit. I can't do any of the imbued vale armor combines.

I vaguely recall Ngreth saying that all the recipes would be in on the progression servers. Has he posted anywhere about the cultural armors?

they are there... just disabled until certain expansions are opened.

I expect Velious, but have not looked it up. (This was Maddoc's work )

so as for a "total" waste... no... just jumping the gun

It is a total waste if cultural 1.0 is not available until another expansion.

imbued armor is barely competitive with kunark class armor at best, and supbar on most pieces.

I won't argue that point either way.

But the other thing is. I do not believe there will be a patch before Velious opens anyway.
