I was farming the wyverns in Cobalt Scar in order to make another run at tailoring when I noticed something rather peculiar.
When farming said wyverns, I customarily kill the roaming cobalt drakes in order to keep them out of my hair when farming the wyverns. Once in a blue moon, I'll get a cobalt drake hide from their corpses that I will later attempt to sell in the bazaar. The drop rate for these hides are very rare, so I seldom find them. That is, until a couple of days ago.
During a farming run, I managed to obtain six arctic wyverns hides in a couple of hours - and six cobalt drake hides! I have never encountered anything like this before. I treated it as a complete fluke, but the next day when I came back to the zone, I obtained three more cobalt drake hides when picking up four more arctic wyvern hides.
Has the drop rate been increased for these hides? Has anybody else run into this on their servers?
