Ancestral Erudite Armor book?

Hi all,

Does anyone know what drops the Bathide Wristband for the Ancestral book? I Killed most of the warrens several times with only wicker dropping, and maybe some cloth.

And should I even bother with the other books? What is the benefit of getting them?

The batlings do, nearly as small as mice. Basically go to the King Throne room, drop down the trap door just a few rooms away, and you will be there. Kill them all. I had to kill almost a hundred for mine to drop.

Ozadar is correct, it's very rare, pretty sure I killed them all about 10 times.

I'm guessing the other books you are talking about are the ones needed to make the augments. Whether or not you want to do the quest is up to you, as it's a lot easier to find people who can make them since the combine is not race/diety restricted and both tailors and smiths have recipes.

Oops! turn in problem

I finally got the bat hide wristband for the first book. Again thanks for that, but now I cant get the turn in right. no matter what I do it says I must turn in all items at once, but the wakazashi bo does not fit in the belt pouch and if you leave something in the pouch it is as if he cannot see it.

What am I doing wrong?

when you hand soemthing to an NPC there are 4 slots. put each of the 4 items in a separate slot. Bag in in, sword in another, and the other two in 2 separate slots. Not in the bag, but in the window that pops up when you give the NPC the item

BAh! Stupid quest!

I checked the script again and it said you have to hand all 4 pieces in order to the npc. When I tried he gave me back the belt pouch and ate everything else. Maybe it is bugged somehow. I am feeling like giving up at this point. the silly npc didn't even say anything, just gave the pouch bacl and nothing else. I really hate when these things dont work.

Belt pouch or wrist pouch?

As far as I remember, if you give a merchant a bag with something in it and hit "give", and (s)he gives it back to you, he will helpfully empty it before returning it.

Yes, it was a belt pouch. I went and got the drops again today and it worked fine. Go Figure. Anyway I want to add that the Bamboo Wakasashi Bo also Drops off of Kerrans on Kerra Isle. I found one on a Kerran 'amir's corpse while working on the next book.
