In need of path from 200 to 250

i am currently at 201 and i am sick of human cultural i can do 20 combines and getnadda skill ups farming drachnid silk is slow

I am looking for something i can buy easily and hopefully cheapish in the bazaar or something with high skill up rate i tried all the recipess on this site that i could find but nothing poped out at me i may do shaded stuff but i dont really like ackheva(thx trains out of thin air)

Many people now do Ceremonial Solstice Robes from 200-250.

Arctic Wyvern, Cobalt Drake & the other Velious Leathers also trivial out at 252.

You're starting to get to the point where you won't get fast skill-ups, things start to slow down post-200, and really slow down post-250. There also isn't anything really cheap in the bazaar. On Luclin the corathus entrails are priced anywhere from 250-600 pp each. Drachnid silk is only 50-100 pp each. Additionally, the cultural armor has a built-in modifier to allow for a higher skill-up rate. I'd stick with the cultural combines right now. If you're bored with farming the silk yourself, go farm plat somewhere and buy the silk in the bazaar.

drachnid silk

Its slower than farming but if you have a bored forager you can also forage drachnid silk. You will also get Drachling silk which I have not found a use for.

You can get some freebie skill-ups with Geerlok and strands of ethereal energy from 212 to 215 or something like that.
Othmir fur caps start to get good around this level.
Farm rockhoppers in Dawnshroud Peaks, I think the superb and flawless hides can be used for skill-ups.

Good point. To clear that up though, it's 211-212 with a Geerlok. I've got a few stacks in the bank for those precious 2 points when I get there. Still haven't given up on my trophy petition, so it might be a few more days.

Barbed Stock Whip (231): 1 medium quality wolf or cat skin + 4 heady kiola + 1 steel barbs + 1 Stock whip pattern + 1 whip cracker + 1 whip stock
Needs only two dropped parts: a hynid mane (~75 pp on Vazaelle) and a medium quality wolf or cat (go farm Stonebrunt). Heady Kiolas are ~ 5pp in baz + the rest is vendore bought in Abysmal Sea.

i did a combination of wyvern and corathus entrails. the wyverns are easy to kill, they drop a ton of those gem's that sell for 32pp to vendors so you will make some cash while u are there.

the corathus entrails are also great because you get 2 combines out of each one. the first combine makes a belt..then up ut the belt back in and it makes a small belt. 2 for the price of 1. you can farm these in Corathus Creep from the bugs by the creep reapers or around the corner there is an area with only 8 of them. Also u can get belfast mission 1 and at the entrance u ride the elevator to the bottom at which time like 10 of these bugs auto agro you (they have like 1k hitpoints and die fast) and just kill those.. get a new mission, kill again..etc etc

Unless ifind a easier way i give up on tailoring the gap between 15 and 250 is just to awful i spent 10k on 1 skill up point ( tried corathus entrails) but its just not feasible at my skil lvl to skill up on them.

Dont get ,me started on hynid manes THEY are WAY to Rare cmon please adjust their drop rate ! im lucky if i get one a clearing in natimbi and getting agrp to go to vexed aint easy and when they do they want to power through.i guess my only choice is to go cultural and max that out and hope that entrails skill ups inc. but if i dont get more skill ups for loseing 10k i quit tailoring till it gets a bit lighter on the bank.

Actually, if you have mastery 3, your chances for GM armor are capped at 250 (I'm assuming you have a geerlok/trophy).

yea i have journymans trophy i really think drop ratre on manes neeeds to be looked at i hope the vexd hynids have ahigher drop rate if i ever get a group to go there again looking for something that trivials around 130 maybe with a varient 135 so i can then do power belts as long as it has a good skill up rate .
Preferahbly not foraged or rare drops like plains root that needs to have a drop rate upgrade to 2 roots in a hour ofkilling bugs ? no thx

well im at 217 now bye bye 12k doing barbed stock wips and then prolly entrails but im a bit worried about the skill range anything to brdige gap between230 and 250 ? igot fed up and bought my way in the bazaar found some fairly cheap drachnid silk70 ish for swatches
