did the Low Quality Cragbeast recipie get removed from the task? i cant log on to check right now...and i just bought one last night...for WAAAYYY too much - im just hoping i didnt waste my money...

No, they didnt change the cragbeast pack. Was hoping for a change there, but guess ill just drop task and move above 250 skill...

ya, i was kinda hoping that too. but did buy a LQ skin the other day. however price was 20k!!!! only ones for sale on server are that price...

It is fairly rare but it doesn't come only from flagged zone. Most people however can't solo a mid 60's mob in GOD and I know those are also hard to single pull by most classes. Getting a group is often the only way but I can count the number of people who actually love GOD zones with only two fingers I ended up shelling 10k for one.

For a 70 druid - found easier to solo and pull Flinty Cragbeast's in the Tipt instance than in the Vxed. Nec would also have kite room, although tight!

There are multiple cragbeasts you can pull to the zoneline in Tipt, versus waiting for the single roamer to path down in Vxed. Probably about a 5 to 1 ratio of killing more in Tipt - which is where I ended up getting a hide for a friend.

GL - never seen one for sale in bazaar on Saryrn (MM) either, for any price.

Though I saw the threads on it... I was still not sure that it was too rare, or just people were hunting wrong.

I will consider this one for change. Anyone have a sugestion for an alternate that is near it in trivial?

how about a Hynid Hide backpack? not sure where the skins drop for that, but Hynids are in tons of zones...trivial is 1 point above cragbeast...

The places ive heard it drop is Tipt/Vxed and KodTaz. KT is locked and i cant get in, Tipt/Vxed is open to any 60+ toon. If youre not a kiteclass, you gonna need a good group tough, those mobs are tough.

To replace it, id rather see the task having some "hard" step, like Shadowscream in smithing, then to require a drop that u need a 65+ group for. Not all tradeskillers are lvl 70, uber and raiding.

Shaded Hide Belt, triv 215. This requires a nodrop item from MAidens Eye, a lvl 50sh group should do ok there, but also need Mind Worms Hide from Akheva. Those are not that rare, but may be a hard place to get a group for, and need prolly level 50+. At least a step down from the 60+ Tipt/Vxed.

Acrylia Reinforced or studded is another option i guess, but was some GoD weapon replaced with that in patch?

Tae Ew Leather maybe? Trivial >229 the recepie lists here says, maybe to high.

DoN culturals would need coding to adjust task to race, but the symbols can be made by anyone, Experts Symbols trivials 182-222. Wouls require to do the Experts DoN quest to obtain the symbol patterns. Not a hard quest, can be done at lower levels, but require the expansion, dunno if thats wanted or not.
The symbol would at least make something like shadowscream, u cant just buy all stuff in baz and make it. An item like this shouldnt be to easy to get, but if its gonna take a rare drop, it should be a rare drop from something that isnt lvl 65 and hits for 1k+.

Hides and Blood for the Hynid Hide Backpack can be collected in Natimbi without too much difficulty - will just take some time, as they can be aggravatingly rare (like anything you're *specifically* looking for)

I MADE THE BACK PACK FOR THE TAILORING TROPHEY BUT THE TASK DIDN'T UPDATE I PUT IN A PITITION BUT THAT WAS WORTHLESS SAID I CAN'T HELP YOU WHAT GOOD ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT GM DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE THOUGHT TO TALK TO ME IN GAME JUST A STUPID ANSWER THINK THEY ARE THE MOST WORTHLESS THING IN THE GAME

Step 1: turn off your caps lock keys

Step 2: Type another petition. State clearly what task, what step, when you succeeded the combine, that you have the completed item in your inventory, and use punctuation. Some devs are unresponsive, but some are very helpful, and I am betting the ratio of the latter to the former varies by how well thought out and courteous your petition is.

repeat step 2 until you A: get credit or another combine attempt ot B: get an explanation to why you have to live with.

I *suspect* that highlighting the particular line in the particular task this applies too is something more detail oriented then they can quickly do. You might get lucky and get a tradeskiller and a gm who will spawn another attempts worth of items for you, I don't think guides can do that.

You are probably going to have to redo it, and it sucks, but you might get lucky if you keep trying. In game is going to be the way to do it btw, the last time I talked to "livechat help" I got 3 boiler plate responses interspersed with 2 sentences of very broken english and a disconnect.

crag back pack

sorry i don't type very well i made the pack from high qualtiy crag skin it made a bloistered crag back back just as eq traders rescipie says it would but the pack did not count on my trailor trophy task have the back pack in my inventrory but i get no repsonce from a gm only item left to make for my trophy
