LQ Cragbeast for Trophy

Still trying to find one of those for the Experts trophy, as others do to it seems from thread below. Altough in the other threads about KT drops, the impossible to find Stone Beans in brewing etc, it seems that Ngreth is planning to change several of those tasks, but no comment so far on the LQ cragbeast skin that seems to be much harder to find then the shimmering stuff the smithers have problem with. All parts for Pale Velium Longswords was easy buyable in Povars bazaar, and has been at least some for sale all times ive seen. But in patch next week that item will be taken out of task cuz its to hard to make.

The LQ cragbeasts on the other hand has not been up once in baz, me and at least one more ive seen has on regular basis been /oocing in pok and baz, and trying in general chat to buy one of those skins. It seems to be impossible to find.
I can either keep trying in vxed/tipt, or drop my task and skill up to 250 to get the "harder" task, as from what ive seen all the items in the 250-300 task is no problem to buy in bazaar.

Could we please get a comment on wheather or not this may be changed? If change is planned ill wait til patch to finish up. If theres no plans on dropping this bag from task Ill just drop task instead.

Just wish i had skilled up before getting the task, i would been done with long ago..... Except for the missing alchemy item thats being fixed in patch at least

I don't know if this recipe is being changed or not but I did spot LQ cragbeast skin once in bazaar yesterday at 10k pp Not as bad as 50k+ on stone beans but still expensive.

I guess one reason those hides never show up is cuz the backpack it makes are so worthless, that they either let it rot or drop it on vendor.

And vendors are usually overstocked so all the goddies rot away outside of their inventory

I would gladly pay the 10k to get this task done, np. If anyone on Povar has one shot me a tell on Goradana, Hanek or Aweil.

Availability of LQ Cragbeast skins

Since PoR went live, I've been working on various trophy quests. One of the ones that has been difficult to complete is the Journeyman Tailor trophy task due to being able to get a low quality Cragbeast skin. I don't have access to the zones where the Cragbeasts drop skins. I've been vendor diving, hollering in /ooc, asking friends who are flagged for the zones if they have any of those skins and watching the bazaar. Today I finally saw one in the bazaar (Tunare) for sale... 15,000pp. So I could purchase it, but man would I hate to fail on the combine for that chunk of change

Thought about dropping the task, but I have completed everthing except the Bolstered Cragbeast Pack, and figured I would wait and see if that recipe (like others that required access to keyed/flagged zones) changes with with 3/14 patch.

These LQ hides seem to drop in Vxed and Tipt - so anyone can go farm them, think the mission can be gotten by a single character. I tried Vxed but the Cragbeasts are deep within, and i was only getting 1 to 2 of them per 10 mobs...ill try Tipt soon...

If u get a lucky spawn set in Tipt u can have a few close to zonein, but to often they are mixed with stonemites that summons.

Only getting 1 to 2 of them on 10 mobs..... Can say u get really lucky. In 50+ kills i havent seen one. Sure i got HQ skin, medium skin and damaged skins... but not LQ.

As for farming, u can get then with solo 60+ toon, just think bout them hitting for over 1k a pop and fast, and stonemites summons. Resists are not bad do its np to kite/root rot them

I was getting 1 to 2 Cragbeasts per 10 mobs killed. Not skins.

I mentioned starting the zone with 1 toon, to show that it didnt need 3 or a whole group to start like an instance.

I have not tried Tipt yet, i tried Vxed, and did not like the layout. I will try Tipt next, and if need be, ill restart a couple times to get a few crag pops near zone in.

LQ Cragbeast Conversion Please

One solution to the shortage of Low Quality Cragbeast Skins would be:

Medium Quality Cragbeast Skin + Skinning Knife => Low Quality Cragbeast Skin

There are lots of medium quality but no low quality in the bazzar atm. I tried the above combine with the result of DNC.
