  • The Tribunal any 300 High Elf Tailors?

    Hi Guys,

Anyone on Tribunal that is a 300 High Elf who can combine DoN Grandmaster's Starglow Robe for me?

Edit: Can someone tell me if this is true:

The success caps on GM armor are set so that 250 with mastery 3 is the best you can get.
I am at 250 in tailoring and have a 5% geerlok. I also have tailoring mastery 3 and salvage 5. Would my success rate be the same on the grandmaster robes with 386 trival if I was at 300 skill level?

I'm on Xegony, and have 297 Tailoring... it's not easy.

That being said... the number is actually around 260-ish skill + Mastery 3. The reason to get higher skill is so that you don't have to get Mastery, really. At least with the GM armour combines. Now, I believe it's been hinted that the success rate on Augs is not capped... so high skill and Mastery together will help you there.

In all honesty, I would still suggest you try getting your skill up to at least ~265 before trying the GM Robe combine.

At 250 skill with a 5% mod and mastery 3, you will have a 62% chance of success on a 386 combine.

Now there are no guarantees but the data suggest that the success cap on GM chest and leg pieces is around 60%.

Its up to you if you want to take the risk... if it were me, I'd try to get my skill up to around 265. That would give you a chance of success at 70% which allows for some margin of error in the data.

Getting to 262 is pretty easy... you can do arctic wyvern to 252 then the very easy othmir fur caps up to 262.

However its up to you. Odds are fair that you are already success capped at your current skill.
