Glossy Drake hides

Can anyone provide information on Glossy Drake hides?

Zone?
Instanced or regular?
Camp location?
Drop rate?

Best place for hides and only place are nest instances. If you can get 3 people in group (required to get mission) and are a kite class you can sit there for 6 hours and solo. otherwise can just group.

The mission I get is Lair of the Blackwing from gnome on good side. As far as drop rates, in a 6 hour span I have gotten from 2-10, generally I get around 4-5 and it's either glossy hides or drake scales. Mobs have around 50k hp and most are soloable pulls, just gotta look at room and pull wisely. If you get a bad pull you can just zone. One note is you generally have 2 snare attempts before they get to you, they are pretty fast. Xp is good too, I get 14-15% a kill solo. Clerics are a pain but you can always avoid if you want. I just kill them.

As an added note thier are some decent twink drops off trash too like caster earring, melee ring/earring and also a 60/60/60 aug.

These also drop infrequently in thundercrest instances, so Nest is definately not the only place. Couple guildies were boxing Creator and reported 1 mds or gdh for one mission.

I'm fairly sure the scales and hides also drop in non-instanced zones, but I've only done instances myself because the exp is better.

Totally random on drakes.

I'm fairly sure the scales and hides also drop in non-instanced zones, but I've only done instances myself because the exp is better.

It's stated somewhere, I forget where, but the components for the GM combines only drop in instances.
