140-158, should I make a lvl12chanter, or just buy viscous?

I am trying to get my tailoring to 158 so I can move forward on the shawl quest.

I have been buying vials of viscous at 9-10pp per but am going broke fast trying to do it that way. Considering a silk swatch sells for 10pp a pop and I could farm them to raise cash for vials, it takes me about half an hour to one hour to farm a stack of swatches. I am beginning to wonder if it might just be faster to level an alt to 12 to make my own.

I do only have 18 skillups to go and am currently hunting in WW for wolf hides for shawl8. I tend to get a skillup per 5 or so attempts doing that.

Any advice on what I should do?

Ahh well you only have 18 combines to go...

That being said, if you have a friend that can spare about 2 hours(ish), you could get your chanter to level 6 then get him powerleveled from 6 to 12 in 2 hours within the Paludal Caverns.

Btw when you say wolf hides, do you mean Velium Hound Fur, if so I would really consider holding onto that until you at least trivial this easier part of tailoring at 158...

The problem with levelling an enchanter to 12 is that it will take a seroiusly long time to make the vials you need to skill up on a level 12, unless you invest in KEI.

It's probably cheaper for you to buy the vials, but it's much more profitable in the long run to get into the vial selling business...
