Mobs in RSS and the Nest con yellow or red to a 70... thus the only way to stun them is with the Paladin AA... no spell will stun a mob over level 70.

Shei, however, is only level 64. Paladins (and some other classes as well) should have no trouble stunning her unless she is specifically tagged immune to it (I don't think she is).

However, her DT has instant cast so for it to work, you'd actually have to keep her chain stunned, not just interrupt... and a resist could screw you up.

Also, her DT is not really a DT... its an unresistable 20k nuke. I believe if you have a fully buffed top geared tank they can (at least theoretically) reach 20k hp and thus survive it. Thats probably not very helpful, but it is interesting anyway.

I've never heard of a 20k tank. However, with max spell shielding at 35%, a tank could stand a decent chance of surviving if you got some good healers.

The highest listed tank on eqrankings has 16,600hp unbuffed.

Oak, symbol, wunshi, brell's, form of endurance 3 clicky, stamina add roughly 3400 (not sure on the stamina part).

Plus, add in tribute (100) and leadership aa (another 100) and its at least at the absolute top end of EQ possible for a tank to break 20k.

Of course, silly me completely forgot about spell shielding.

You can probably count them on 1 hand. I just found it interesting from a theoretical point of view.

Well perhaps... but I'm almost certain its easier to find someone to tank for you in AR than it is to find someone to tank for you who happens to be keyed for VT.

Spellshield and Alendar makes it very easy to survive a 20K DD assuming you pay attention to when it happens so you actually started at full HPs. I survived a 20K Cazic Touch during GoD, which caused Cazic Touch to be bumped up to 32K.

Some mobs have conflicting gender description. For example Dragons show up as 'it' I believe even though Yarlir is obviously female. Snakes wearing cloths in Ssra (minus Emp) all show up as female with %s but all their aggro/death messages uses 'his'. I didn't follow much on Akhevan lore, but I was under the impression Aten Ha Ra was the only female Greater Akhevan.

Yeh - only stun works in RSS is the Celestial one and they seem to resist it a lot. That was my point.

And I was incorrect - I had never done Shei encounter - n was told chain stun works just fine.

Was more a point of everything thinking of just having a pally = stun = no gate = no cheal - hasnt worked like that in about 3-4 expansions :P.

And we have a couple of tanks in our guild are very very close to 20k if not already. I dont keep track im only a suck 16k buffed pally :P.
