15% mod shears still drop?

Been killing Shie in Akheva every time he has been up since July and have seen 2 robes and no shears the entire time!

Do they still drop?

A better measure would be how many times have you killed. Then we have a starting point to decide if your only unlucky, or if it is broken.

Shei will have the Shears equipped, if they're going to drop.

So just look at the hand. No pointy weapon (dagger graphic, I think), no Shears.

How hard is Shei these days. whats the smallest amount of people he is doable with. Always wanted some sheers and I have a gnome that would love the robe.

Shei is killable with one group, just make sure the tank has >15K hp and good shielding.

We have killed Shei at least 13 times, every week for the last 3 months and every time there was a patch.

We have 2 robes, no shears.

How do you deal with the DTs? Just have two tanks and rez and rebuff?

Touch of Vinitras is a 20k unresistable DD - so it's survivable if you have 15k hp and good spellshield. Interesting.

That said, it might be considered monopolizing content to kill him every time he's been up since July, if someone were inclined to complain.

There is never anyone in the zone and as soon as we get the shears and robes for the people that want them , there never will be again.

But lets get back to the original question..

Has anyone seen the shears drop in the last couple of months?

I too have been farming this guy since last june but only have 5 kills in that time so not much of a farm. Been wanting shears for years and now robe for my 282 tinker. I had read this thread earlier today about 6 hours ago and was gonna post i hadnt seen one drop in several kills but didnt. My guild called raids early tongiht after clearing anguish so i decided to see if sheii was up. He was, and i got few ppl to come thats been helping kill him. We poped real sheii and i noticed he was piercing, i was on ramp. I took a closer look and i could see a whitish bone like luclin dagger ( graphic bug ) not in hand but up his back, almost inside him. I could only really see it when he swung and leaned forward. I assumed this was the crappy dagger he can drop. I was wrong. He dropped the shears!!! I am very pleased...

11-19-05 9pm eastern. Shears dropped.

Heh...look up Shei Vintras on Allakhazam's...he/she (appears to be some arguement there...) is a raid mob. Has an unresistable 20k DT (every 2 mins). Everytime someone dies, an add spawns. Only people taking this down with a single group would be anguish geared 70s, I'm fairly sure.

Should be able to resolve the gender issue by targeting and typing /say %p or %s. This should return hers/his/it's or he/she/it

%M - Returns the character's pet's name (when they have a pet).
%O - Returns the objective gender-specific pronoun for the target (Him, Her, It).
%P - Returns the possessive gender-specific pronoun for the target (His, Her, Its).
%R - Returns the race of the target (only works on Player characters).
%S - Returns the subjective gender-specific pronoun for the target (He, She, It).
%T - Returns the current target.

That's probably one thing, plus how well geared everyone is nowadays 2 minutes is an eternity. You can also have some Pallies with their PoP AA Divine stun to chain stun and remove the DT all together, aside from the initial one.

Would love that to be true - but 1) Pallies Stuns frequently will not land on high level mobs/raid mobs 2) the chance of a stun interrupting the mob drops with raid mobs and 3) if the spell is instant (didnt look it up couldnt be bothered) C stun wont work.

PS Why does everyone think a Pally can interrupt almost anything these days sheesh. Just ask them about Stuns in RSS :P or Nest on gate mobs.
