Flawless Tae Ew Hides

What all can drop these? I assume they drop off the lizards, but do they only drop off certain ones, and do they drop off anything else? Thanks for the answers.

I'm spreading baseless rumors here but until someone actualy posts something...

From what I've herd from people that hunt CT the flawless hides dropped from named Tau Ew, and the drop rate was not high.

Again, this is NOT reliable information.

I have seen hides off the green and brown lizards in 4C, more so off the brown though.

flawless tae ew hides = nightmare

I had a set of lvl 65 friends tear thru the area (65 monk, cleric, wizard, rogue and enchanter) for 12 hours. Woot they got one hide. I wouldn't bother with trying to farm unless you were 250 skill, the drop rates are horrendous.

Now that the drop rate of the blood seems to be a lot higher than it used to, we are farming the bloods to make chain tunics and leggings for the folks in our guild who can use them. It would be nice to be able to progress to where the plate and leather class groceries drop. Have anyone seen the flawless hides drop anywhere since the last patch?
