  • Ding 200...50 more pts to go!

Went home for lunch, did 17 Othmir combines and nada. Grrrr. No skills ups. I have one hide left. /join auction "100pp for one Othmir hide", no response.

Load up CS gate and Karana's Rage, pull 10 of the lil furries - low and behold - One hide!

I gate back to Thurg, buy a pattern and thread, threw in the rest of the materials and...You have become better at Tailoring! (200) Weeeeee!!!

50 more points here I come...full speed ahead.

*grins* always the best skill up .. the very last one in the batch.

Same thing with fletching or jewel crafting. Just when you think your going to have to go back to the merchant and buy another stack of material of the same stuff just to do that last skillup .. bam .. last one of the batch and you get what you want.

I keep on debating doing massive combines (at huge cost) to get my tailoring higher. So far I've just been slowly building AA and farming ingredients instead of buying out the bazaar, but I'm losing patience: Tailoring 199 and counting... AA 12 and counting.

                      Congrats.

Nice going Nimphe. I am assuming that the 190's were a pain in the you know what like it is with most people. So getting to 200 is a huge accomplishment. I almost prefer the hell levels in the 190's. It weeds out the people who truly aren't tradeskillers at heart (or are too stubborn/stupid/demented/ you pick. I'm all of them. ) to stop.

And to Craftah...I buyout Bazaar at times, but only if the price is right. But I also have low level suppliers who sell to me for under Bazaar prices, because they can guarantee a sale whenever they want cash and because I am always nice to all suppliers (okay, sometimes I'm nice hoping for good deals in the future only.

My 190's were horrible, but was made a bit better by a lower level farming Acrylia for me for 2 weeks straight and then selling at ridiculously low prices. It then became financially feasible to do Acrylia combines.

Well, I hope you two (Nimphe and Craftah) the best of luck, however you manage to skillup.

                            Awesome job!

It's horrible in the 190s, but once you hit 200, you get "new life" to tough it out til the end!

Keep it up! We'll be looking forward to your "Ding 250" post!
