  • Nightmare Arachnid Swatch DNC in DoN Cultural Containers?

I am a DE, and I cannot make my cultural pre-swatch without either going to pok and using the loom or carrying around and using a collapsed sewing kit (since it was originally a pok era recipie). Any gnomes or erudites, can you please confirm if the same applies to your or if you are allowed to combine 2 nightmare arachnid silks in your cultural kits to make the nightmare arachnid swatch? Thanks =)

As an Erudite, I also have to use the PoP loom to make the swatches, before using them in my cultural kit.

Ah, yes. How soon we forget. I read this and thought Huh, must be a bug.
Completely forgetting, of course, the whole Old-cultural-kits-not-working-
        must-make-a-new-cultural-kit-even-though-it's-the-same-recipe thing.

Since you both are of races that had cultural sewing kits before, you must
now make new cultural sewing kits to get them to work on the DoN com-
        bines.

I am using the new kit =/ I have made master's armor in them as of a couple days ago. I assume that Ilona is as well since they stated that they to have to go to PoK just for the swatch combine.

Dont do it if you only want skill ups, After 4 weeks of saving enough Nightmare silks to get 227 Swatches to Attempt Master Metalofiber Arms Triv 290 I got 2 skill ups.

I Think it is time to just say Sony Wins and give up on tailoring for now.

I used a Collapsable Sewing kit to make the swatches, Cultural for the Arm combines.

I do it because there is demand for it =) (and it's fun/enjoyable).

Thanks for the combine info, it looks like this was never put in. Please /feedback that gnomes, erudites and de's should be able to combine the nightmare arachnid swatch in their cultural kits, thanks =)

Actually, everyone should be able to make Nightmare Arachnid Swatches in their Cultural Sewing Kit...

They're used in tailoring Master's level Augments, after all.

                        It's not just you.

gnomes, erudites and de's should be able to combine the nightmare arachnid swatch in their cultural kits

Planar recipes can only be made in stationary looms in pok. The planar kits don't work either.

Been this way forever in spite of what Sony says.

Just be happy you can actually use your new cultural kit for stuff that ISN'T a pure cultural combine.

Nightmare Swatches, Stormweave Swatches ... their original primary combines are all PoP and thus require a Tanaan container (PoK loom or collapsed kit or Planar (i'll dbl check that one later)).

Just because your culture has learned to adapt materials from another recipe does not mean your culture knows how to make those materials (think Native Americans making bead jewelry with beads they had to trade for).
