OK...I have suffered through cultural tailoring, solstice robes, and othmir fur farming to get to 262 Tailoring. My next level of cultural requires Great Reptile Hides....I remember seeing something here about them, but have never seen even one for sale in the bazaar.
I tried holgresh fur, the drop rate is 1-2 hides per clearing of the cave, and then you have to use purified mana...a pretty big expense.
I went to CT, tried killing some there, but as a druid, the stun is deadly even if they are light blue, if you get more than one on ya. No idea what the drop rate is there.
I tried Dream Haunt. At first I thought I scored...had some friends go and we farmed the mephit caves for hides, blood and bricks of nightmare iron. The hang up here is midnight stones...I tried farming wolves for them..maybe 1 an hour...gobbies not much better, and don't see many for sale in the bazaar.
I tried for Nightmare Arachnid silks...mobs come in pairs..dark blue to 70 and a wussy druid can't melee two at a time. Don't see these for sale in the bazaar either.
Is there something I am missing, or should I just move on to torture myself with smithing til new expansion comes out and hope for new recipes? heheh
Any thoughts, condolences appreciated.
