Dragons of Norrath Cultural Halfling Quests


Quest Details: Collect and hand in Fractured Femur, A Bunch of Optic Nerves, Minotaur Horn, and Cat Skull Cap.

Tips: The Cat Skull Cap and Fractured Femur both drop off of pickclaw goblins in Runnyeye. A goblin who is carrying a femur will have in equipped in its hand. A Bunch of Optic Nerves drops off of evil eyes in either Runnyeye or Beholder (The Gorge of King Xorbb). The Minotaur Horn drops off minotaurs in Beholder (and Steamfont Mountains, if you want to make that hike). When a minotaur has a horn on it, you will see it holding something horn-like.


Does anyone know if you have to actually loot the items or can you buy them in bazaar or have them handed to you?

You actually have to loot the items and turn them in. It works the same way that a DoN or Ldon mission's objectives work, you don't get credit unless you kill and loot as the task tells you.

To be precise, you do not have to loot the items, as the ancestral armor book isn't a task. Just turn in the 4 items and get your reward. The caveat, though, is that some ancestral armor quests include nodrop items...

For the 4 tasks given to get the augment books, you DO need to loot the items to update the task. The task will include both "loot XX items" and "turn in XX items". Technically, you don't need to have looted the item you turn in (in case you accidentally destroyed the last one )
