Tailoring Trophy & Sewing Contraption, stack?

Okay here's my question, I'm sure it's been asked before and maybe I used the search feature wrong but I couldn't find anything.

Does the Tailoring Trophy's +5% tailoring stack with the Sewing Contraptions +5% tailoring? Or is it once you have the Trophy, say good by to your geerlock SC because you don't need it anymore?

Correct, they do not stack.

and even if they did it would be worthless once you hit 240, as 240 + 5% = 252 which is the adjusted skill cap.
