Coarse Spider silks

Haveing extreme difficulties finding these as a drop... only information i have found is that they drop in the ascent and LS lair..... ive hunted both extensively to a grand total of zero looted to date. the only ones ive found have been bazaar or vendor farmed... if anyone is willing to pass on any hunting ground info they have I would love to hear sugesstions.

Noone really knows where they drop most really. They are just rare as H*ll.

On my server, only one coarse silk has entered the bazaar in the past 2 months. In that same period I'd estimate approx 200 hides and scales have entered the market.

They also drop in The Nest missions (note: MISSIONS)

I can confirm they drop in the "Scrap Metal" and a rescue one. They do NOT drop in the "Lair of the Blackwing" since you don't kill any spiders.

As above they are very rare.

I've gotten all of mine from a mission in The Ascent - "Death Comes Swiftly".

I looted 1 from Lavaspinners, off the green con spiders. Wasn't an instance, I was in there doing the faction solo missions.

I probably killed an upwards of 100 spiders and saw one silk.

Getting people to do Death is hard enough, given exp is lower, and crystal reward less, than the Creator's. Oh well... I'll get enough to have my 2nd attempt at a GM Robe one day.. maybe..
