Skilling up with folded bags

It sounds crazy with up front costs, but I got 4 skill up points from 9 poison bag combines and 1 medicine bag combine(131-135) I sold 4 to guild members for cost of successful combine(35pp), and 1 to a stranger for 100pp. Since all the skillups came on poison bags, I think that's 4 points for a net cost of about 30pp. (31pp per ribbon. 4pp per thick grizzly bear skin. spiderling silk from vendor diving.)

Because of these recipes, the grizzly skins are almost totally unavailable today. I found one on a Karana gypsy, bought the last in the bazaar, and bought some out of a guildie's bank. (Thanks again Gaasnul).

The medicine bags on the other hand were a bust. I had to offer 50pp before someone would bring out the HQ bear skins. So I only have the one I made.

I haven't started Wu's yet. Does this really cost more than Wu's if I keep finding customers?

If you can find buyers and supplies this wouldn't be a bad way to skill up. Pretty simple and straight forward combine.

Finding buyers is going to be a bit of a pain tho since both items are lore you can only do one or very few combines at a time before you have to start finding buyers or just poofing the bags.

The bags do have the potion bags do have the advantage of trivialing out a bit higher than wus tho.

Selling LORE bags is definitely a pain. As the night went on, I had a mad rush which I could barely keep up with from my guild, and then nothing at all. Since it's LORE, if someone wants one, they have to buy it now, no matter where they are. For my guild, I was willing to deliver. I even got to fight skeletons in Kurn's again.

I sold exactly zero overnight. As far as I could tell, noone else was selling, either.

You mean potion bags, not poison bags, correct? Just want to make sure the potion bags aren't also used with poisons in some way.

Last night there were no buyers. I have a couple of guild members who still want ones, since I offer at cost. But no one else. This is too expensive for me to skill up on if I can sell.

I guess I still have to PL my ENC to get mana vials for Wu's.
