Any known use for these? Saw on a vendor. Is WT 4.0 Sizy Tiny all/all. Search didn't bring up anything, and wasn't on the pelt drop list.

I didnt see any of these until after the patch last week.. and I've been seeing them all over the place now on the 3 servers that I dumpster dive on... pretty sure theyre a new drop not sure from where but i'd have to guess Chardok or LoIO or something like that.

I can confirm that these started dropping in Chardok after the patch. They unfortunately don't stack. Was hoping they were for a new tailoring recipe.

Just because a hide doesn't stack, doesn't mean it can't be used for tailoring. Think holgresh fur.

did searches, saw questions about it, but no answers, so has anyone found a use for them?

This aren't anything new, as far as I know, they've been around since Kunark came out. They're not commonly seen outside of Chardok, because people usually don't bother to loot them.

They still have no known use, as far as I've ever heard (they would have found one by now, if there was one, I'm sure...)

Just one of the many items in the game that have no use other than to sell to NPC merchants for cash, quite likely.

Has anyone tried to ID them in game or sell them and see if they come up as combinable in the bazaar?

come up as combinable in bazaar? or was that two thoughts spliced together? ^_^

my thought is that the recipe, if any, will be forthcoming. maybe from hail text from an NPC in the zone where they drop?

He means if you choose 'combinable' in the drop-down /bazaar list, does the chokidai hide show up.

I think the theory was, last time this topic came around, is that the chokidai hides were simply a vendor loot items which was added to replace the old item looted from them - which was a FS longsword.

They have identical weight, resale value to vendor, and so on...it's just slightly more logical for a chokidai to drop a hide rather than a sword.
